/r/visualnovels Best Visual Novel 2.0

The Rules

I'm going to use animebracket like I've done the last few contest since it's easiest to work with these days. For those who aren't familiar with it, the quick and dirty of how it's run will be:

Step 1) Nomination Phase: People nominate as many visual novels as they like. It only takes one nomination for a VN to go the next phase. This will last for about a week.

Step 2) Elimination Phase: You simply vote for the visual novels you want to see in the contest, as many or as few as you like. Similarly done in previous contests but streamlined through anime bracket. It also determines the seeding of the visual novels in the bracket. This portion will last about a week.

Step 3) Voting! This is straightforward and I want to try to have every available match votable and have polls run for a week.

Some ground rules for nominating entries:

So as some may remember I recently ran a poll to determine what our next bracket popularity contest should be a few months ago. The H-scene contest won. While it would be funny, it'd be a bit too much of an exclusive bracket and I'd prefer not to disallow entrants due to certain reddit rules. We've seen Best Guy and Girl multiple times already so I think most people know what to expect. A best song contest can be hard to get people to listen to hundreds of new songs they haven't heard before and vote fairly. A best route contest can unfortunately get into spoilers unless we figure a way around that.

There were some interesting ideas people brought up as alternatives likes Best Villain. However, I figure another Best Visual Novel contest is a safe option to do first and should be ran at least one more time, especially since we've had many well-liked VNs that have come out in the 3+ years since the first one.
