We are using the r/otomegames' definition of otome as a "video game with a romance theme that targets the female audience."
Nominations are restricted to English "mainstream" otome games, where "mainstream" basically means a game distributed/published by an entity other than the original developer, such as Otomate's games, and localized/created in English. Generally speaking, games made originally for console, as opposed to PC or multi-platform, are considered mainstream.
